Sue joined the Apopka Calvary staff in January of 2021 as the Worship Leader after serving on the team for 6 years.
She is a Florida native, living in and around Central Florida for the last 23 years. She met her husband, John, at Central Florida Community College, where she pursued
Opera and Show Choir and received her AA, before receiving her BA in Psychology
from the University of Florida. She went on to pursue her Master in Mental Health
Counseling at the University of Central Florida, and became certified in Marriage and
Family Therapy. She is currently a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern, and is
pursuing full state licensure.
Sue and John have four children and Lola their doodle. She is passionate about
helping people find peace, a place of belonging and a deeper connection with God
through worship. She loves to spend time singing, playing guitar and listening to music.
Her other interests include walking with friends and eating tacos.
Sue desires to help enable the Church to worship freely and passionately, whether that is within the local church, or partnering with other churches and denominations across Central Florida to see that vision fulfilled.
